How long have you been playing baseball?
I’ve been playing baseball since I was 6 years old.
What’s your favorite thing about baseball?
My favorite thing about baseball is probably the feeling that comes after a huge team win. The energy, the vibes…nothing beats it.
What’s your favorite memory involving baseball?
My favorite baseball memory is either our win against St. Thomas Aquanis just this past Saturday, or any game against Plant City, the atmosphere is just different when we play them.
Are there any rules in baseball that you’d change?
The rule that you have to wipe your fingers after you lick them before toeing the rubber is what I’d change. I think that little bit of moist gives me a good grip on the baseball, just like rosin.
Do you have a favorite MLB or college team you root for?
My family and I are huge Florida Gators, so that would have to be my favorite college team. My favorite MLB team is the Rays.
What’s an area in baseball that you want to improve in?
I would have to say my emotion after a loss. I hate losing, but having a short memory after a tough game is very much needed. If you don’t, this game will chew you up and spit you out.
Do you want to play baseball in college?
Yes, I am committed to Bryant and Stratton. They are a juco in Virginia Beach.
When you’re not playing baseball, what are you doing in your free time?
I love working out and spending time with my family, that’s pretty much all I do when I’m not playing baseball.
