Hearing center offers free amplified phones today


Lakeland-based Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center is offering free amplified phones today, in Plant City.

The center will be distributing the phones until 2:30 p.m. Jan. 14, at Bruton Memorial Library, 302 W. McLendon St. Plant City.

The organization distributes phones to qualified Florida residents who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind or speech impaired. If you meet the requirements, the phone is loaned to you for as long as you need it, at no charge.
