An emergency repair to the CSX crossing at Collins Street will close a portion of the road for 12 hours Wednesday.
Collins Street will close between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Laura Street beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday as CSX crews work to repair and replace a steel rail at the south railroad crossing.
Signage will be posted and traffic rerouted around the road closure during the emergency repair. The closed portion of Collins Street should reopen by 7 p.m., barring any unforeseen issues.
